Session Overview & Curriculum
Join the AAU IEEE AI/ML and Embedded Systems technical tracks for an intensive 4-hour engineering session.
In this workshop, participants will:
- Train a lightweight convolutional neural network for real-time defect detection.
- Apply post-training INT8 quantization using ONNX and TensorFlow Lite for Microcontrollers.
- Flash and evaluate inference latency, flash footprint, and power draw on ARM Cortex-M4 targets.
**Prerequisites:** Familiarity with Python, basic linear algebra, and rudimentary C/C++ syntax. Please bring your laptop with VS Code and PlatformIO installed.
